Dr. Bruce Chehroudi • Raytheon

Dr. Bruce Chehroudi is currently a Principal Scientist and Group Leader at the Engineering Research Corporation Inc. He has been a Chief Scientist at Raytheon STX (formerly Hughes Aircraft STX) and is a former Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Chehroudi previously served as a Research Staff Member at Princeton University and has established and directed an Engine Laboratory at the Univ. of Illinois. Dr. Chehroudi has more than 100 publications in conferences, national and international journals. Dr. Chehroudi, received his PhD from Princeton University.

 
Mr. Sven Exler IAV

Mr. Sven Exler studied mechanical engineering at the University of Applied Sciences in Berlin. After his graduation in 2000, he joined IAV as a development engineer in the diesel engine development group. Since 2002 he has been working on development and calibration of diesel exhaust aftertreatment systems.

 
Dr. Lutz Kraemer IAV

Dr. Lutz Kraemer finished his Ph. D. at the Technical University of Munich in 2001. He then worked in the research, body and powertrain business unit at DaimlerChrysler on exhaust aftertreatment of combustion engines for four years. In 2005, he joined IAV where he is currently technical consultant for exhaust aftertreatment.

 

 
Mr. Juergen Manns IAV

Mr. Juergen Manns studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Aachen. He joined IAV in 1985 as a development engineer for diesel engines. In 1995 he became department manager for diesel engine combustion and calibration. Since the beginning of 2005 he has been Vice President for business development of IAV’s diesel engine group.

 

 
Dr. Frank Mertins • IAV

Dr. Frank Mertins studied physics and detained his Ph.D. in physical chemistry at the University of Heidelberg in 1995. After a post-doc at the Max-Planck-Institute in Dresden, he worked for several different companies. In 2002 he joined IAV, where he currently is responsible for the development of the simulation software IAV-Exhaust.

 
Mr. Ralf Weidig Victrex

Mr. Ralf Weidig has been with Victrex for 10 years in various roles including Technical Service Manager, Technical Manager and Market Development Manager – Automotive. In his current role as Global Automotive Manager, Ralf is responsible for identifying and positioning PEEK in automotive applications. Prior to joining Victrex, Ralf worked for ZF Friedrichshafen AG as Manager of the Non – metal department. Ralf holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the Technical University – Stuttgart.

 

 
Mr. Sascha Zarske IAV

Mr. Sascha Zarske studied mechanical engineering at the Technical University of Dresden. In 1996 he joined IAV as a development engineer in the diesel engine development group. Today he works as a team manager for diesel engine combustion and calibration.
